NWWNL Chapter 13

I’m sorry I haven’t updated in so long but I haven’t been feeling well. But here are 2 chapters, although a little late.

Before Yi Yang and Xu Xinyi could step out of the study room housekeeper Chen walked in with a smile.

He has been working for the Yi family since the time Old Mr. Yi was young. It has been many years now and even though his hair has turned white he isn’t willing to leave the Yi family. You can say it was because he wanted to see Yi Yang grow up.

Mrs. Yi was sitting on the sofa, rubbing her forehead. She now had a headache after talking with the couple for so long.

Bother!

“Uncle Chen, let people clean up Yi Yang and Xu Xinyi’s room. They will be staying here for a while till father comes back.

Uncle Chen smiled affectionately: “This is good. Old Master will definitely be happy when he learns about it. I will go and arrange it now.”

“Wait a minute!” Mrs. Yi stopped Uncle Chen, “Before father comes back, throw out all the entertainment magazines for me. Don’t let them appear in front of father. Also, any news regarding Xinyi that appears on TV, make sure father never learns of it.”

Everyone in the Yi family knew about Xu Xinyi’s reputation outside except for Old Mr. Yi, who has been healing on the mountain for the past two years.

“Father’s body has recently been well but the doctors said that he must not be stimulated too much. I will have to trouble you to pay attention to it. Do not let any of those rumors circulating outside reach father’s ears.

She hadn’t finished saying when they heard Yi Yang’s angry and out of control voice: “Xu Xinyi!!!”

Both people hurriedly turned towards the sound.

However, Uncle Chen recovered from the shock first, he smiled and said: “Seems like Young Master and Young Miss are having fun.”

Mrs. Yi sighed, clenching her teeth she regretfully said: “Sweethearts indeed! Ok, you can leave.”

Uncle Chen left with a smile.

That night Yi Yang and Xu Xinyi stayed at the old house.

They lived in the old residence when they had just married but later when Old Mr. Yi fell ill and went to the mountains to recuperate, they moved to the apartment downtown because it was convenient for work.

Though they are married and lived together but Yi Yang was always busy with work and Xu Xinyi too was busy outside with shooting (a movie) all year round so was away for home for a month or two. The husband and wife are together on rare occasions, they exist only in name.

Being forced to live in the old residence, if Yi Yang was half unwilling then Xu Xinyi was totally unwilling, but she could not show even a tiny bit of resistance. She had to show that she was ecstatic and looking forward to it.

This was just so difficult.

Fortunately, Xu Xinyi wasn’t a person to bash her head against a wall. It’s been two years since she came here and it won’t hurt to wait some more.

Only that she felt somewhat baffled. The divorce contract was ready, Yi Yang had even divided the property, then why would he go back on signing it?

“Xiao A, tell me why did that bastard suddenly back out? Normally it shouldn’t be like this ah.”

From Xu Xinyi’s point of view this Yi Yang was different from the dressed in a suit, arrogant and incomparable Yi Yang during the day. Right now he looked warm and approachable.

Xu Xinyi had a moment of realization.

No divorce then no divorce, then these two days should she make him regret what he did in the past?
